Our Story
Our founder and chief candle maker, Sophie, started SO Candle Company after discovering her passion for the craft when creating candles for her own wedding back in 2023. What started off as a crafty passion, soon developed into the company we know and love today.

Countless hours of trials and tests, creating her own bespoke scents for her special day, helped shape the path SO Candle Company would take with its use of essential oils to craft natural aromatherapeutic scents with benefits to all.

Since our founding, Sophie has led the way we define scent, being responsible for all our unique blends that define our natural company ethos.
At SO Candle Company, we strive to make aesthetic candles to enhance your mood with a focus on using organic ingredients so that we can provide high quality candles to all our customers.

Each of our candles are handmade with unique essential oil blends that have been curated by us. Each candle has been named after a specific mood that the scents in the candle evoke.

Due to each candle being handmade and using natural essential oils, there can be slight differences in the scent and surface finish of candles across different batches.

Always handmade
At SO Candle Company, we believe that nothing beats the handmade touch that we provide during our candle making process. It is important to us that our customers are given high quality products and we ensure this by handmaking all of our candles from pouring the wax to labelling our jars. We put extra time in to make sure each candle is perfect.

We want all of our customers to know that they are filling their homes with natural and organic scents when they burn our candles. This is why we strive to use only the best organic products, from our natural soy wax to our naturally-occurring essential oils. We believe that our customers deserve the best products so we use the best ingredients!

Our company ethos revolves heavily around being eco-friendly as we believe in protecting the planet for future generations. This is why all of our products are made from natural ingredients that have not been tested on animals and all of our packaging is made from recyclable materials.
